Hi everyone.
Gosh, I'm overwhelmed with the wonderful response to my new blog.

My bad shoulder keeps me from walking too far and there's lots of places doggies can't go into, like places that have food. I like going to Home Depot and places like that where dogs are accepted. I've even been inside a couple of casinos...they're too noisy for me.
I like lounging at home anyway. I get excited when Margie and Jay return from going out and they always talk about where they've been and there's always photos too.
Jay is looking for a good bike basket for me to ride along. I'm not so sure I'll like it, but we'll see. I really do like riding on the golf cart at our RV park, however. Jay carries treats we can share with other doggie friends too.

Well, our first day of our trip wasn't a long drive. We stopped at a WalMart for the night to make sure we had everything we needed, including those all important goodies for me. The next day we were off again in the big motor box.

Wickenburg, Az was a neat place. We parked where I could walk to some historic places easily. Now, dogs aren't interested in history, but my humans like that stuff. I just enjoyed us all being together having fun. We had lunch at a patio bar where the waitress brought me a small burger patty of my own. It was yummy and she scratched behind my ears just the way I like it. That night we stayed at a Safeway store, but I wanted to go back to that patio bar for more burgers.

The next day we went to Kingman, Az where we visited a friend's ranch. The big dog and I got along really well. I felt safe wandering around with him as he showed me all the cool places to pee and neat things to sniff. We wanted to stay longer than 2 days, but there was a lot of places yet to see, so off we went again.

We went to Hoover Dam. I didn't understand what that was all about, but there were lots of interested people. I was fine snoozing in my chair while J & M played like tourists. From what I heard, Hoover Dam is very important and supplies much of the electric used to light up Las Vegas, whatever that is.

The next day I found out about Vegas and a place called "The Strip" where there are casinos and lots of people walking around. Wasn't much there for doggies to do, but I did get to go for lots of walks and got my ears scratched by several nice people. At night there are lights everywhere and lots more people.
J & M went to many casinos and took lots of photos. I enjoyed one of my favorite things, lounging.
We stayed there for over a week. That's where we met up with Tony and Karen, a nice couple. I was kind of skiddish at first around Karen since she is in a contraption called a wheelchair. I wasn't sure what to make of this till I heard her legs didn't work at all. It makes my bad shoulder seem less significant, at least I can get around on my own.
Karen was sweet once I let myself get close enough  She also did a wonderful drawing of us in our RV that Jay put in a frame on the wall. Las Vegas was ok, but not the most dog friendly on "The Strip". J & M had fun, but there were too many people for me, so I got to go to a park nearby every day.

Next time I'll tell you about some places we went next. Many were small towns and I got to go more places in them. I think small towns are more friendly toward doggies.

Thanks to everyone.

    1. I've heard of Florida. J & M used to have a sailboat there. I saw some boats in Oregon. I don't like water, so boats look scary.
Your momma can fly?? I like birds. I chase them and bark...I don't think birds like to play cuz they fly away.
I have chicken jerky. Do you like that??
      Friends,
